"An update: I said I would try out the BubbleBeans coffee from Hayward's own roaster. I bought a 12 oz. bag of dark roast, single origin Guatemala Xinabul. Normally I'm not a fan of Central American coffees, they seem a bit too "bright" and acidic for my taste, but, I'm happy to report that this was a tasty complex coffee. I ground some beans when I got home and made a double espresso to go with the fresh french bread from 7 hills bakery. It was rich and almost chocolatey (is that a word?). Wonderful aromas. I look forward to trying some of their other beans, like the ones aged in rum barrels! YUM. Support local artisans. I'm so impressed by people who have the courage to follow their passions."
